In short
The FormLM Research Desk is the editorial team behind AssessWiki. It builds the archive's own reflection tools, files all 51 assessments into 8 clusters — Career Direction, Work Style, Communication & Teams, Leadership, Learning & Growth, Work Stress, Emotional Intelligence, and Flow State — and documents every entry, including its own, in the same fixed structure: what it measures, who it is for, how it works, what evidence supports it, what it cannot tell you, and what to do next.
1. What the Desk does
Most entries in this library credit an external researcher — Costa & McCrae, Thomas & Kilmann, Goleman, Dweck. The Desk is the counterpart for the tools we build ourselves:
- Reflection tools — structured, non-clinical self-assessments (work style, career values, learning habits, coaching questions), each labeled as self-built rather than claiming an external theoretical lineage.
- Cluster curation — all 51 assessments are filed into the 8 topic clusters below, mixing published frameworks and our own tools under one filing system.
- Review — Desk-built tools follow the same fixed entry structure as third-party frameworks, and their pages say so.
2. The 8 assessment clusters
Every cluster portal below is maintained by the Desk — click through to browse its assessments.

Learning & Growth

Emotional Intelligence

Flow State

Clusters are maintained by the FormLM Research Desk under the same fixed entry structure as the rest of the library.
3. Same standing, same disclosure
The Desk's tools hold the same standing as published research — same entry structure, same disclosure. Two boundaries keep that honest:
- Self-built tools are labeled as reflection tools, not clinical instruments, and never borrow an external researcher's name.
- Author-run pages live separately in Theory Portals — never rated, never mixed into editorial rankings.
