Ground your coaching in assessments people can actually trust

Coaches · consultants · trainers · HR · educators

What this is: a neutral, evidence-based library you can cite in your work — every framework explained by its method, its evidence, and its limits, and each linked to a free assessment your clients can take. What it is not: a lead-gen product, a licensing desk, or a diagnosis.

Three honest ways to use it

  1. Pre-work for a session. Send a client a relevant free assessment (Big Five, work values, conflict style) so the conversation starts from something concrete — not "how do you feel about it?"
  2. A shared vocabulary. The entries and glossary give you plain, accurate language for what a tool does and doesn't claim — useful when a client arrives quoting an online result.
  3. Grounded handouts. Point people to an entry instead of a screenshot of a type. They get the research and the stated limits, not a label.

Where the line is

These are self-report reflection tools. They are appropriate for conversation and self-awareness and not for hiring, clinical decisions, or anything high-stakes — that needs validated, licensed instruments and qualified interpretation. Keeping that boundary is what makes a neutral library worth citing in the first place.

Want your own version, or your framework listed?

Building a branded assessment a client can take, or turning a report into a printed card, happens on other tools — we'll point you to them plainly, and to our submission path, without the pitch. And if you maintain a framework, you can propose it for the library; it goes through the same editorial review as everything else.

Start neutral: browse the library, compare the tools people ask about in Compare & choose, and read how we review before you cite us anywhere.

AssessWiki is an independent assessment library. We publish no numeric ratings, and placement is never for sale. Links to partner tools are for your convenience, not endorsements or paid referrals. This page is educational and not a clinical or hiring recommendation.
